About Cassidy
I bring visions to life.
Light tends to define my life, because light defines color. I live between New York City and Michigan. I harness energy in both nature and the city. I work in all mediums using fabric, metal, space, and light. I am excited by thunderstorms. Rusted metal does something to me. All things vintage, future, technological, cultural, science and fabric related excite me.

After graduating from Fashion Institute of Technology, I began my current career in film in the costume and wardrobe department; foraying into the art department every now and then. I am interested in the stories behind the clothes, why a character chose this specific item of clothing, and the stories that color can tell. I love the energy of being on set, creating something larger than yourself that can only happen with an amazing crew.
I also make creations that take the form of clothing, human silhouette design, or installation. Sometimes there is poetry, spoken word, or music involved. I have designed events for several hundred people. I like to see many beings come together harmoniously for a beautiful moment in time.
Also currently in the works is a clothing and bag collection, aspiring to be produced in Michigan. After studying metal casting and jewelry production, I turned my love of jewelry and metal into the collection Rust From Stars.
Also incredibly important to me is our environment. In everything I do, I try to consider its effect on our long term home - Mother Earth.
